Michael Toohey grew up in Michigan but moved to Texas as soon as he was able! He attended the University of Dallas on a National Merit Scholarship and earned his Master’s in Education while teaching history. There he specialized in working with students with ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism spectrum disorders. He also has considerable experience with AP students, gifted and talented, and everything in between. He is the founder of Michael Toohey College Prep, where he offers one-on-one tutoring. Students who complete his full tutoring program average 200+ point score increases on the SAT! He also offers recorded video courses for the SAT, TSI, and Accuplacer Tests. You can find him on YouTube, where he offers free resources for a variety of standardized tests. He is married with six children, two cats, and 9 chickens.
